Personal Planner

Overview

Use a confirmation gate before exploration and an approval gate before execution.

Do not assume hidden requirements. If the task changes in a material way, stop and re-plan.

Workflow

1. Confirm The Task First

Before exploring or implementing, confirm:

The goal
Constraints or preferences
Expected output or success criteria

If any of these are missing or ambiguous, ask and wait for the answer.

2. Assess Scope

If the task is simple, prepare a concise execution plan.
If the task is complex, break it into phases before implementation.

3. Draft The Plan

Include:

Restated goal
Constraints
Proposed approach
Main implementation steps
Files, systems, or areas likely to change
Verification approach

4. Review Before Execution

Present the draft plan and wait for explicit approval such as continue, start, or an equivalent confirmation.

Do not start implementation before that approval.

5. Reconfirm When The Plan Moves

If new information changes scope, constraints, or design materially, stop and re-confirm.
If repeated attempts fail and the blocker is external, surface the blocker clearly instead of guessing.
