The Journal of Social History, published by Oxford University Press, is a leading venue for social history — the history of everyday life, social structures, and lived experience: class, gender, family, work, sexuality, crime and punishment, childhood, aging, leisure, and the experience of marginalized and ordinary people across periods and regions.
